The purpose of the History Center for the Northern Lights Camps is to discover, collect, and preserve any material which may help to establish, illustrate and/or interpret the history and significance of Boy Scouting in the service area of the Northern Lights Council.
Our mission of collecting, preserving and interpreting the history of the Northern Lights Council requires considerable resources. In our new space in the Wanzek Trading Post and Scout History Center we exhibit portions of our collection, provide for self guided tours and programs, and preserve our object collection through generous donations from the Northern Lights Council and its Scouters, past and present.
