Become a Camp Staff Member
Camp Wilderness is home to to 55-75 seasonal employees each summer who provide the Scouting program and positive experiences the thousands of youth and adults who attend our programs. Paid staff live in cabins throughout the summer, with volunteer Counselors in Training staying in tents. Throughout the rest of the year, occasional employment opportunities arise based on the calendar of events at Camp Wilderness.
Paid staff must be at least 16 years of age to work at camp. Special considerations may be given to someone who is 15 years old. Counselors in Training are Scouts who are at least 14 years old and want to gain experience working on the camp staff in the summer time for a 2 week period. Commissioners are volunteers that work for a week during the summer time. They help support the program of 3-4 troops each week.
