Weekend Camps

2024 SPRING CAMP

Join us for an adventure filled weekend at Camp Wilderness! Spring Into Your Career this weekend with an interactive Career Fair from 9am-12pm. There is an option for Day Only, but Day Only participants must be checked in no later than 9am. All parents attending must also register.

Scouts BSA youth will have the opportunity to take one out of the 15+ merit badges offered.

Tiger Cubs 

Will have the opportunity to participate in nature hikes, and crafts. They will also learn the ‘ins and outs’ of camp life. They will learn what to do at Butler Wilderness Outpost when they attend this summer with their pack! They will end the evening with a Tiger graduation and s’mores party!

Indoor housing will be available for Tiger Cubs and parents.

 

Wilderness First Aid

This course, accredited through the Emergency Care and Safety Institute (ECSI) is developed to specifically meet the requirements for the BSA High Adventure Bases. This is a blended program which will require the participant to complete an online portion PRIOR to merit badge weekend. This should take approximately 6 to eight hours to complete. In order to complete your certification you must attend the eight hour skills class to be held at the merit badge weekend.

This course is for youth and adults and will be an additional $75.

7:00 – 8:30 AM | Breakfast
8:30 – 9:00 AM | Check in for Day Only Participants
9:00 AM | Wilderness First Aid and Career Expo Begins
12:00 – 1:00 PM | Lunch
1:00 PM | Merit badge classes and Cub sessions begin

5:00 – 6:30 PM | Dinner
7:00 PM | Classes/Activities resume if needed

7:00 – 8:30 AM | Breakfast
9:00 AM | Check Out

 

Health Forms part A and B are required for ALL participants, including all youth, adults, and siblings!

 

If you would like to attend the day only, select the campsite named “Day Only No Campsite Needed”.

 

Adults coming to watch for day only also must register.
