Winter Camp

Scouts can attend Camp Wilderness all winter long! Our heated cabins are available for rent on weekends with programs, and during the week. Week long Winter Camp, Program weekends, and freestyle weekends bring a winter experience unlike any other.

Rent cross country skis, snowshoes and ice fishing supplies to get the most out of your Winter Camp experience! Our two sledding hills offer endless hours of fun and laughter. 

Every cabin is heated with electricity. Some program weekends offer food service, but Units are able to cook their own food. All cabins have mattresses in them with a shower and bathroom facility near by. 

Winter Camp is a fun opportunity for all families and troops!

 

  

 

 

   

 

 

 

 

 

2021 Winter Camp Dates

To reduce the spread of COVID-19 through contact with surfaces, we are taken special measures to have a safe environment for our Scouts.

  • Camp will be closed every other weekend
  • Tubes for the sledding hill will need to be brought with (and not shared)

Sign up to be a Campmaster this winter!

Volunteers can pick one or more weekends in January – early March to help with various roles at camp.

  •  Cub Scout Campmaster: acts as the person checking people in and out and as a point of contact for leaders with questions
  •  Scouts BSA Campmaster: acts as the person checking people in and out, is a point of contact for leaders, and helps check equipment in and out (skis, snow shoes, etc.)
  • Trading Post: helps run the trading post.
