2023 Spring Merit Badge & Tiger Weekend
Join us for an adventure filled weekend at Camp Wilderness! Spring Into Your Career this weekend with an interactive Career Fair from 9am-12pm. Some Careers that will be attendance are:

- Minnesota State Patrol Air Rescue Helicopter
Scouts BSA youth will have the opportunity to take one out of the 15+ merit badges offered.
Classes Include:
Citizenship in Society
Climbing (Friday-Sunday) (Scouts must be at least 13 years old)
Communications
Cooking 2 (Trail portion of Cooking MB)
Engineering
Environmental Science
Fishing
Salesmanship
Scouting Heritage
Skating (must bring own skates and safety gear, will be doing inline portion of merit badge )
Shotgun
Soil and Water Conservation

Truck Transportation
Wilderness First Aid (Friday-Sunday, additional $75)

Tiger Cubs
Will have the opportunity to participate in nature hikes, and crafts. They will also learn the ‘ins and outs’ of camp life. They will learn what to do at Butler Wilderness Outpost when they attend this summer with their pack!. They will end the evening with a Tiger graduation and s’mores party!
Indoor housing will be available for Tiger Cubs and parents
Wilderness First Aid
This course, accredited through the Emergency Care and Safety Institute (ECSI) is developed to specifically meet the requirements for the BSA High Adventure Bases. This is a blended program which will require the participant to complete an online portion PRIOR to merit badge weekend. This should take approximately 6 to eight hours to complete. In order to complete your certification you must attend the eight hour skills class to be held at the merit badge weekend.
This course is for youth and adults and will be an additional $75.

Price for the weekend is $50
This weekend is a tent only weekend, and registration is open.

Parts A and B of the Health Form are required for all Youth and Adults in attendance

Join us at Camp Wilderness October September 29-October 1st for the second annual Fall Festival!
Enjoy the beautiful 2,400 acres of Camp Wilderness this fall at this amazing event.
Health Forms part A and B are required for ALL participants: youth, adults, and siblings
Meals are included with the price. First meal is Saturday Breakfast.
